Friday Night Estate Auction – 2012

Each year we have an estate auction filled with great material.  In the past we’ve auctioned off a near complete run of WEIRD TALES, a large run of pristine copies of PETE RICE, and much more.  Featuring authors like: Edgar Rice Burroughs, L. Ron Hubbard, Lester Dent, Walter Gibson, Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, Robert E. Howard and others too numerous to list here.

THERE WILL BE 200 LOTS FOR FRIDAY NIGHT AUCTION!

WINDY CITY PULP AND PAPER CONVENTION
FRIDAY NIGHT AUCTION – APRIL 27, 2012
FROM THE ESTATE OF JERRY WEIST
The following material will be sold at the Friday night
auction, starting at approximately 8:00 p.m.  It is from the
estate of well-known collector and comic authority Jerry
Weist, and comes from a collection that Jerry purchased
in 2009.  Our memorable Friday auctions in 2010 and
2011 drew from the same source.

The material will be available for inspection Friday
afternoon for several hours in Grand Ballroom C.  The
convention has not graded  these items (although we
have tried to note missing or detached covers and pages
[nfc = no front cover & nbc = no back cover]) and
encourages all bidders to review their condition before
placing bids, as all sales are final.  There will be a
buyer’s premium of 10% added to the amount of each
winning bid.  We can take payment by cash, check,
credit card or paypal, but credit card and paypal will
have a 5% surcharge.  Additional auction rules are
available separately.
There are several pulp titles where many issues are
spread over multiple lots throughout the auction.  To
