Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention Announces Rescheduled 2021 Dates of September 9 – 12, 2021

December 14, 2020 – As 2020 draws to a close, we’re feeling pretty confident that we will be able to hold our show in 2021.  However, given the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic and the timing on the various vaccines, we became increasingly concerned that it would not be feasible or prudent to hold our show as originally scheduled from April 15-18, 2021.

We can now announce that we’ve reached an agreement with our hotel (the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center in Lombard, Illinois) to reschedule the convention to September 9-12, 2021. The location of the convention remains the same.  All attendance pricing remains the same and all existing dealer table reservations and membership pre-registrations will be honored for the revised convention dates. Convention programming and hours, including dealer setup the night before the convention begins, will remain the same.

Any existing hotel reservations at the Westin for our April dates should be cancelled automatically, but we advise you to double-check with the hotel if you already made reservations. Those members with reservations at hotels other than the Westin and all members with travel reservations are advised to revise their bookings.  The new cut-off date for the convention room rate of $125 per night at the Westin will be August 19, 2021.  To make reservations for the September convention, please use the booking link below.

In addition to online reservations, you can also call Marriott Reservations (888-627-9031) and mention Windy City Pulp and Paper, to make your September reservations.

If you cannot attend on the rescheduled dates for 2021 and have already pre-registered (or reserved dealer tables), please let us know (using the “Contact” option at or email to as soon as possible and we will transfer your registration/reservation to our 2022 convention instead or refund your money, at your election.

We are revising our web site to correspond to the rescheduled 2021 dates.  We would appreciate it if folks could share this news, so that we reach everyone who was interested in attending our convention.

Stay safe and keep collecting!
